Cheats Codes:

All commands are done via the console. They must be enabled via the console option
on shortcut, or enabled through the in-game options under the Advanced section of
Controls. It is then accessed by pressing ~.
(Note: Most of these require sv_cheats to be set to 1.)

Overheating Xbox 360:
---------------------
Play the level where you face off with the laser guided robots. Once you get past
the first few robots, you must start dropping the boxes on the robots heads so that
they fall over. In the little place that you find the first two boxes, crouch and
walk behind where the boxes were. You will find a little room with odd music playing
and graffiti on the walls that says things such as "The cake is a liar". There also
seems to be an Xbox 360 with a pot inside of it. The Xbox 360 is overheating and
boiling the water.

On the level where you get the companion cube after you run past the energy balls
and are in the room with the three elevators, there are two doors leading to a
catcher, and a platform that is pushed out of the wall. Walk up to the platform
that is pushed out. Crouch behind it and walk through the opening. On the left hand
side are a group of pictures of people with boxes for heads and hearts around them.

Using cheats and unlocking achievements:
----------------------------------------
There are achievements that you can get for completing certain tasks, however if
the sv_cheats code is enabled the achievements are disabled. There is a way around
this. There are a few command strings that can be bind to keys which allow you to
enable or disable God mode when desired, get all equipment such as weapons, plus
the better portal gun.
To do this, use the bind "sv_cheats 1; wait; god; wait; wait; wait; sv_cheats 0"
console command. For God mode use the Bind "sv_cheats 1; wait; Impulse 101; wait;
wait; wait; sv_cheats 0" console command.
Cake Recipe:
------------
1 (18.25 oz) package chocolate cake mix
1 can prepared coconut frosting
3/4 cups vegetable oil
4 large eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2/3 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
2/3 cups cocoa
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cups water
1 to 2 (6 oz each) vanilla frosting
Completing Chamber 18 easier:
-----------------------------
At the end of the advanced map for Chamber 18, you will have the same raised platforms
as you did in the normal one except now after you leave the lower one, it falls into
the toxic water. This forces you to be more precise with your portal jumps. However,
you can get past this easily. Do the platform jumping as usual, but if you miss, just
land on the platform you came out of. You should be able to fire an opposite color portal
at the wall where you entered this area, allowing you to go back to the start. All the
platforms rise again, and the portal is still where you left it. You can now fall into
the pit again and be able to portal jump to the next ledge. This take longer but does
not require precise timing.
Still Alive song:
-----------------
Listen to the radio in the room you start out in. If the music sounds familiar, it is
because the song is an up-tempo version of the "Still Alive".
Spawn huge error text:
----------------------
Enter the console then type npc_create npc_zombine or bind "sv_cheats 1; wait;
npc_create npc_zombine; wait; wait; sv_cheats 0". Press the bound key if you do not
want to get kicked from the server (it will not allow you to earn achievements, etc.

If you get to the end of the game one of the little robots that come out of that robot
will say the cake recipe.
Getting Upgraded Portal Gun Early In Game:
------------------------------------------
Open the developers console by pressing the ` button, and type in "upgrade_portalgun".
This will give you the portal gun and allow the use of the blue and orange portals.
